This Privacy Policy explains how Startup Tycoon handles information when you use our iOS app. The short version: the game runs entirely on your device, and we don't collect or see your gameplay data.

1. Information We Collect

Startup Tycoon does not require an account and does not transmit your gameplay data to us. Your progress (cash, team, market state, settings, etc.) is stored locally on your device and never leaves it.

If you enable notifications, the app schedules a local reminder on your device using Apple's notification system. This does not involve sending any data to our servers or a third party — it's handled entirely on-device, and you can disable it at any time in the app's settings or in iOS Settings.

2. How We Use Information

Because we don't collect gameplay or personal data, there is no user information for us to use, sell, or share. App Store aggregate statistics (such as download counts and crash reports) may be visible to us via Apple, in line with Apple's own privacy practices — see Apple's Privacy Policy for details.

3. Third-Party Services

Startup Tycoon does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The app uses Expo Application Services (EAS) solely to deliver app updates; this may involve your device requesting update files from Expo's infrastructure, which is subject to Expo's Privacy Policy.

4. Children's Privacy

Startup Tycoon is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, since the app collects no personal data at all.

5. Data Security

Since your gameplay data stays on your device, its security depends on your device's own protections (passcode, encryption, backups). We recommend keeping your iOS software up to date.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
